Simon is the creator and face of Shore Finish, and is our quoting extraordinaire. He opened Shore Finish to provide the region with a reliable, quality service. And has now been running Shore Finish for over 10 years.
Simon has over 25 years of experience in the painting industry. He has worked for himself as a colour consultant. As well as travelling Victoria working in sales for two leading paint manufacturers. These prior experiences place him among the best in the trade. Simon uses his wealth of knowledge to help you create a vision for your project.
Over the years, Simon has developed close relationships with a lot of other local trades. Allowing Shore Finish to provide reliable recommendations to help you around your property.
In his spare time, he loves going skateboarding and spending time with friends and family.
Gaven has been working alongside Simon at Shore Finish for over 8.5 years, he has been plastering for 17 years and painting for over 12 years.
He manages projects with many moving parts including insurance repairs, builders projects and private jobs, coordinating multiple trades to deliver an all inclusive service for our customers. You may meet Gaven at your initial quote, or see him on site repairing plaster or delivering equipment in preparation for our painting team.
Gav has an incredible eye for detail and you’ll notice this on the projects he manages. We pride him on his ability to form lasting relationships with our clients, he receives regular calls from return customers requesting quotes for the next stages of their projects. Gav guides our painting team and other trades on jobs from start-to-finish, and makes sure our work is up to the Shore Finish standard.
On weekends and holidays, Gav enjoys travelling and adventures with friends and family. Also, he spends time completing projects around his own home.
Gemma has worked at Shore Finish for 4 years, to help grow the business, and run everything behind the scenes.
Before Shore Finish, Gem ran her own small business for a few years. She also has experience working in finance, and doing face-to-face customer service roles.
She is behind the phone calls, emails, invoices, website, and social media pages. Gemma loves taking photos as a hobby, using these skills to create media content for the business. You may meet her visiting the complete jobs with her camera in hand.
In her own time she likes going to the gym, exploring down the coast, and spending time with loved ones.
